3Squared named as one of Yorkshire’s top tech companies

Sheffield-based digital technology consultancy 3Squared is pleased to announce it has been named as one of the top 20 technology companies in Yorkshire by Top Tech Yorkshire.

 

3Squared designs and develops bespoke, cutting-edge software for the railway industry to help customers save money, improve performance and boost safety compliance. Its RailSmart suite of tools increases safety and compliance among railway workers, while its tablet-based Driver Advisory System allows them to regulate and improve performance.

Top Tech Yorkshire is organised by law firm Mills & Reeve and judges include Stuart Clarke, Festival Director of the Leeds Digital Festival, Mel Kanarek, Director and Co-Founder, Sheffield Digitaland Richard Faulkner, Managing Director, Technology Banking at Silicon Valley Bank.

3Squared was recognised in the awards for its rapid growth and its strong links with Sheffield Hallam University, which is helping to find the next-generation of technology and rail workers.

The judges said: “The company has a growing international presence but is very closely aligned with its local community, supporting Sheffield Women in Technology and providing work placements and internships to students.”
