We are delighted to share that we have been awarded Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation. The award will enhance our current suite of accreditations and reinforces our continuous commitment to cyber security and data integrity.
This coveted accreditation proves that we are taking careful steps and guaranteeing the right precautions to provide a robust and secure service to our clients and suppliers alike, which plays a particular importance in the digitalised world in which we live and work.
Cyber Essentials Plus backed by the Government’s National Centre for Cyber Security is an industry-supported scheme that helps organisations to protect themselves against common online threats. The scheme, launched in 2014, enables organisations to gain one of two Cyber Essentials badges, of which we were awarded the first only last year (link) . It is backed by industry experts including the Federation of Small Businesses, the CBI and several insurance organisations which offer incentives for businesses.
Having been ISO27001 accredited since 2017, we are pleased to enhance our status through Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation. Cyber Essentials is of increasing importance and is a mandatory requirement for any company operating in the UK and bidding for central government contracts that deal with the handling of personal information and the provision of certain ICT products and services.
James Fox, Commercial Director at 3Squared, commented: “Achieving Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation marks an exciting turning point for us. We are proud to showcase our dedication to protecting our clients’ assets and data at such an intricate level. Quality is something we never compromise on at 3Squared and through achieving this accreditation, we can further show how fully committed we are to keeping the swathes of data we collect safe and secure, particularly as we drive towards the creation of a digital railway.”
